REMUNERATION: R328 176 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM
PURPOSE
Administration of operational fleet management services
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of un-redirected drivers’ traffic fines due to resignations, retirements, demise and change of addresses without notices, as and when required. Discuss multiple and excessive speed traffic fines with relevant Transport Officers, as and when required. Allocation of driver tags and update of Driver Database report, as and when required documentation at all times. Provide advice on policy compliance and interpret provisions of the SCM Policy. Management of ad hoc vehicles’ rental and confirming invoices for correct payment. Administration of ad hoc vehicle accidents and report to the service provider. Place orders for ad hoc rental vehicles as per departmental requests. Submit monthly and annual standard and fuel rates cost centres for all departmental users. Confirmation of de-fleeting charges on accessories for vehicles returned to service provider upon contract terminations. Administration of VDO (vehicle monitoring unit) reports on driver authorized routes as per line managers’ requests. Reconcile bulk fuel transactions against invoices submitted by service provider, as and when required. Regular updates on fleet that utilizes bulk fuel cards only. Request vehicle quotes and order Full Maintenance Lease as per Fleet Master Services Agreement (MFSA), as and when required. Administration of vehicles’ branding as per the City’s Corporate Identity requirements. Generate minutes for Accident Management Committee meetings monthly. Report and follow up on Fleet Management Services exception reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
• Certificate in Fleet Management (NQF 5);
• Diploma in Fleet Management or Fleet & Transport (NQF 6)
• 3 years Fleet control and document administration and/or financial experience. Knowledge of traffic legislation will be an advantage
