TWELVE MONTHS CONTRACT POSITION

REMUNERATION: R787 968 TOTAL COST TO COMPANY PER ANNUM
 
 
PURPOSE
Carry-out engineering designs in a professional, efficient and cost effective manner and assist in the planning and implementation of capital projects to achieve the Company’s annual targets.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry-out site investigations and surveys. Organize and implement engineering investigations and propose preliminary design solutions. Oversee designs and the respective subordinates. Prepare contract documents for tendering and evaluations thereof. Manage projects. Maintain effective communication between the Design Section, Infrastructure Planning, Investment Delivery, Operations and Communications/Stakeholder Relations. Liaise with external professionals, Council departments and public to facilitate successful project implementation. Manage contract administration and monitor site construction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential qualifications and experience:
· BTech/BSc degree in Civil Engineering (NQF 7)
· 5 years’ Working experience in design of water and sanitation reticulation.
· Ability to use Techno-CAD or similar design packages and ability to use AUTOCAD  or  similar drawing packages.
· Knowledge of GCC
· Valid Driver’s License (code B)
