 Johannesburg Water (SOC) Ltd was established in 2000 as a municipal entity wholly owned by the City of Johannesburg. It is a R13,3 billion turnover company employing over 2700 people, and its core purpose is to provide water and sanitation services to approximately 5.87 million people.
  
BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES 2022
In line with the Company’s talent management strategy, Johannesburg Water offers comprehensive bursaries to students for full-time studies at accredited institutions.  Every year bursaries are offered in specific fields of study which meet the particular needs and skill requirements of the Company.

Disciplines: Finance  
(With an interest in revenue analysis as well accuracy and completeness of revenue)

Requirements: B.Com Finance/Financial Accounting (2nd year)
 
Requirements:  Students must be South African or hold permanent South African residency and studying full-time at an accredited tertiary institution.  Bursars will be required to enter into a contractual employment agreement with Johannesburg Water after the completion of their studies.
