THE JOHANNESBURG ROADS AGENCY is one of the agencies established through the restructuring process of the City of Johannesburg.

ADMIN OFFICER: INTERNAL AUDIT 
(REF: 23/2019/138) 
(6 MONTHS FIXED CONTRACT)
SALARY: R 234 102.72 – 351 154.08 BASIC SALARY PER ANNUM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and monitor the Unit Managers’ diary.
• Organise meetings of the unit and/or the manager with other stakeholders.
• Taking meeting minutes and typing them as necessary.
• Type reports, memos and correspondence.
• Arranging travel when necessary.
• Arranging parking for meetings or whenever required.
• Screen incoming calls and reroute to the correct people.
• Attend to incoming queries and escalate to the appropriate staff member whenever necessary.
• File all documents for safe keeping.
• Coordinate general administration of the office.
• Receive visitors and ensure that their needs are met.
• Manage inventory of supplies to ensure smooth running of the office.
• Monitor machinery and ensure that they are maintained as required.
• Liaise with Facilities management to ensure repairs are reported and serviced.
• Populate the timesheet information onto relevant spreadsheet.
• Collating leave registers and submitting to HR in the event of strike action.
• Co-ordinate recruitment process
• Administration of unit contracts, including the liaison with service providers.
 
REQUIREMENTS AND SELECTION CRITERIA:
• National Diploma in Administration or NQF equivalent with relevant general knowledge of administration
• 3 years’ experience in related field.
