ASSISTANT MANAGER: ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE
• REF: 16/2020/85
• 24 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
SALARY: R608 564.56 — R880 446.12 P.A. TCTC (ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE)
Responsibilities: • Ensure the electrical maintenance of the Asphalt plant and transfer skills on all electrical related maintenance activities to the maintenance team • Identify areas that can be optimized that will lead to improved quality of the health & safety status and plant performance requirements • Develop and implement maintenance methods and procedures in liaison with the Asphalt plant management to improve quality of output, health & safety and plant performance • Develop and implement maintenance - methods and procedures of electrical equipment • Develop standard procedures for regular maintenance requirements, planned maintenance and preventative maintenance using proven methods • Develop an electrical maintenance plan
• Diagnose all electrical problems • Ensure adherence to procedures and systems for all maintenance works • Develop procedures to timeously procure quality and relevant electrical component is for the Asphalt plant and maintain an inventory of components on hand • Develop a procedure to assess the quality of electrical components • Recommend the new technology in electrical maintenance field and update all relevant procedures and plans after approval • Develop integrated work schedules to ensure effective skills transfer and on-the-job exposure.
Requirements: • B.Tech/B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering • Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) • ECSA Candidate registration • 5 years' experience in Asphalt plant or major plant electrical maintenance environment, inclusive of 3 years' supervisory experience.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE (4 POSTS)

• 24 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
SALARY: R286 792 — R430 189 BASIC SALARY P.A.
Responsibilities: • Contribute to formulate medical surveillance policy • Plan medical surveillance programme for the company • Conduct pre-employment medical examination in accordance to medical examination protocols • Conduct pre-placement and transfer medicals in accordance to medical examination protocols • Provide a baseline health status and determining fitness for duty • Conduct periodic health screening to detect early signs of target organ damage related to specific health hazard exposure • Identify and ensure early and prompt intervention measures to affected employees and referrals to appropriate functionaries • Report and assist on all injuries on duty and occupational diseases to the Compensation Commissioner • Conduct exit medicals to detect and exclude possible occupational diseases related to occupational exposure • The OHN must follow JRA standards and procedures for medical surveillance process • Assess the health status of workers • Assess ability to work • Present recommendations to line management • Medical records should be recorded and signed • Evaluate occupational hygiene surveys and identify trends • Provide specialist input into the compiling of man-job task specifications for all activities required by specific jobs • Identify and provide recommendations regarding the control of health and safety risk exposures • Compile individual and group occupational health risk exposure profiles.
Requirements: • Grade 12 • Three-year Diploma in General Health Nursing • Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing • Registration with the South African Nursing Council • Driver's licence • 3 years' experience in the nursing environment.
ADMIN OFFICER: LEGAL

SALARY: R234 102.72 — R351 154.08 BASIC SALARY P.A.
Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor the Unit Managers' diary • Organise meetings on behalf of Manager: Legal with internal and external stakeholders • Take meeting minutes as and when required and distribute them • Type reports, memos, and correspondence • Arrange travel arrangements for external business functions or meetings • Archive and safe keeping of documents manually and electronically (e.g. contracts, invoices, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and guarantees, etc. • Update and track departments contracts register, guarantees register, and requests for legal assistance on excel daily • Maintain the unit's attendance register • Prepare RFQ form when services are required and submit for signature from Manager: Legal and HOD • Confirm availability of budget before submitting RFQ to SCM • Facilitate approval of invoices for services rendered by Manager: Legal or any relevant unit to whom legal services were rendered • Create requisitions on JDE system • Provide functional/technical support to the business unit • Support Manager: Legal and Assistant Managers in consolidating relevant reports related to sound governance practices i.e. policies • Attend to document requests from internal and external auditors (e.g. Auditor General and Internal Audit). Liaise with internal and external stakeholders from an operational perspective.
Requirements: • 3 years' Diploma in administration or related field • 3 years' experience in a public administration environment.
