Assistant Manager: Security Management
Remuneration: R608 564 - R880 446 per annum (Total Cost to Company)

Responsibilities:T o manage the sub-unit and ensure effective and productive operations. Ensure enforcement of security policy and procedures and relevant legislations and standards • Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures • Coordinate security operations with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies • Keep abreast of changes in legislative directives and/or new technology impacting security operations • Access Control. Coordinate access control throughout the JRA • Deploy best practice technology in support of security measures • Plan and coordinate high profile visits to the JRA • Conduct stakeholder awareness on security protocols • Communicate security status, updates, actual or potential threats using established protocols • Manage conflict situations relating to the safety and security function • Support interdepartmental / security incidents 
• Prepare reports and presentations on internal investigations, losses and violations of regulations, security policies and procedures • Provide 24-hour support on security and emergency related matters, recommend security measures. Identify, investigate and resolve security breaches. • Manage and coordinate emergency response services • Ensure security staff remain alert and vigilant of potential transgressors. Inform and warn violators of rule infractions • Confront and/or detain violators until police arrive.
 
Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree/B.Tech or NQF level 7 in Security Management • PRISA Grade A • Driver'sLicense • 5 years' experience in security management, inclusive of 3 years in a supervisory position.

Supervisor: Security
Remuneration: R191 092 - R286 639 basic per annum

Responsibilities: To ensure the safety and security of employees, stakeholders/ clients, assets, information and buildings/ facilities through effective supervision of physical and operational security services at shift level. Ensure professional conduct of ail security officers and the execution of the shift in accordance with security policies, procedures and standards. Execute detailed shift changes by ensuring that: A detailed briefing is made in writing to the incoming shift leader, including incidents that occurred and the status of the official registers, relevant documentation and status of security equipment and systems Convey all instructions issued and actions required thereof. Conduct parades and inspection of all security officers at the beginning of each shift and ensure that: All security officers fill out and sign the attendance register accurately and correctly on arrival; All security officers are clothed in full and clean uniform and are equipped with the relevant equipment and aids and are in possession of their PSIRA Registration cards; All security officers are in possession of pocket books and a black pen and such pocket books are always completed and up to date; Conduct inspection and visitation to all security posts on the first hour on duty and at least every two hours during the shift. Ensure that security officers are on their posts, understand and perform their duties and responsibilities relating to that specific post.
 
Requirements: • Grade 12 certificate. PSIRA Grade A. Driver's license. No criminal record. 3 years' experience inthe security environment, inclusive of 1 year experience in supervision of Security Officers
