EXTENSION OF ADVERTISEMENT - METROBUS TWELVE MONTHS (12) PROFESSIONAL DRIVING LEARNERSHIP PROGRAM

Purpose:
Metrobus Learner ship is outcome based and is intended to contribute towards addressing the shortage of qualified drivers within the road passenger field. The Metrobus Learner ship is based on a legally binding agreement between the employer, learner and service provider. During this period, learners shall receive an applicable stipend. The learners shall be responsible for their own accommodation, meals and transport.
The learner shall be declared competent after successful completion of the instructional learning phase, the workplace-learning phase, the final submission of a portfolio of evidence (POE) and the successful external verification by TETA.
 
Essential Minimum Requirements
• Eligible ages between 18 & 35 years
• In possession of Grade 12 Certificate
• In possession of Driver's license code C, EC1/04 or EC as well as a valid professional drivers permit (PrDP) or the ability to obtain one during the Program will add as advantage.
• Have a strong character and are customer focused
• Must be a law abiding citizen without a criminal record
• City of Johannesburg residence only
