SALARY RANGE: R25 422.17 (basic salary excluding benefits)
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12
• Relevant Diploma (NQF 6) or Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 3 years of experience in skills development and training.
• Registered with a relevant SETA – added advantage
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport sectors is an added advantage.
Primary Function
Responsible for identifying training needs, drawing up Workplace Skills, and submitting Annual Training Reports. Analyze the skills requirements within Joburg City Theatres and coordinate the execution of the personal development plans of employees and monitor the implementation of the workplace skills plan and report accordingly.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify training needs and draw up Workplace Skills Plans (WSP).
- Develop and complete workplace documents such as the annual training report and the workplace skills plan.
- Submit an annual Workplace Skills Plan, Pivotal Plan and Annual Training Reports (ATR).
- Introduce accredited training for the business to be presented by accredited training providers.
- Introduce skills development programmes such as learnerships, bursaries and youth subsidies.
- Compile and submit an Employment Equity Plan and Reports.
- Assist in establishing Training and/or Employment Equity Committees.
- Facilitate skills development programs and training initiatives
- Conduct needs assessment and analyse skills gaps
- Develop and implement training plans and curricula
- Monitor and evaluate training programs
- Building relationships with industry stakeholders and training providers
- Manage funding and resources
- Take responsibility for convening the training committee and ensuring that appropriate consultative processes around skills development are implemented.
- Ensure that appropriate procedures and records are kept of training committee meetings.
- Liaise with the Seta and company around issues of skills development.
- Oversee the implementation of training.
- Keep appropriate training records.
- Report on training conducted to the Seta.
- Ensure participation in Seta learnerships and skills programmes.
- Attend SDF forums and SDF training.
- Coordinate skills development interventions
- Provide input in the development of HR policies in line with and in support of Human Resources strategy for the realization of the company business plan.
- Participate in allocated projects for support and share expertise.
- Administer the delivery of learning and development intervention.
- File all documentation and paperwork (electronically and hard copy) according to agreed filing protocols.
- Compile human capital reports and any other reports as and when required.

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficient in HR software and systems, including HRIS, payroll, performance management tools etc.

Primary Function
Play a key role in supporting the organization's human resources functions, including recruitment, remuneration, employee relations, benefits, and compliance, training and development, hr transaction, employment equity and reporting. Provide coaching, guidance and advice on a range of HR products and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees.
- Manage the designing, developing and execution of the recruitment and talent sourcing strategies.
- Liaise with line management to understand vacancy requirements, in area of responsibility, and verify alignment to the approved organisational structure.
- Prepare advert for the position and advertise internally, liaising with recruitment agencies to coordinate advertising of appointments externally.
- Conduct criminal and reference checks of potential candidates.
- Coordinate the interview process inclusive of shortlisting candidates, preparing interview packs, selecting the interview panel, scheduling the interview and participating in the interview.
- Coordinate the appointment of the successful candidate and submission of regret letters to unsuccessful candidates.
- Prepare the letter of appointment for the successful candidate for approval by the General Manager.
- Coordinate the induction of new staff members through provision of all company information to the new hire, introduction of new hire to the business and facilitating induction workshops.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process and ensure legislative compliance and policies.
- Drive the onboarding and offboarding processes for both incoming and outgoing employees.
- Drive the JCT talent management and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Administer remuneration and benefits, including basic salary/wages, bonuses, performance based, signing, overtime pay, shift allowances, health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, disability, employee assistance programs, professional development etc.
- Analyse and report on the learning and development trends and needs from the Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for all levels, and to identify training interventions.
- Manage and execute learning and leadership Development.
- Implement the WSP and ATR processes and ensure compliance with the legislative and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor compliance to Performance Management Policy, providing guidance to management on performance review process and procedures, as and when required.
- Oversee and manage all activities related to the performance management cycle and all communication, sensitization and monitoring of the process to ensure its effectiveness and relevance to the business.
- Assist in developing EE plans per department, implementing and track achieved milestones.
- Generate and validate HR reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support to the Performance & Organizational Development by coordinating the development and review of job profiles, to ensure that all job profiles are approved and signed by the appropriate stakeholders and are aligned to the structure.
- Participate in the process for grading jobs.
- Participating in OD projects, as and when required.
- Coordinate employee wellness programmes to promote a healthy and safe working environment, this includes but is not limited to recommending counselling interventions for identified employees.
