We’re hiring for these exciting roles:
COLLECTIONS MANAGER, NATURAL HISTORY: CENOZOIC PALAEONTOLOGY - INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT
Basic Salary Range: R477 133.81 per annum, plus benefits
Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree relevant to the Natural History Collections Section • Honours qualification relevant to the Natural History Collections Section • At least 3 years’ experience of managing museum or archive collections of which 2 years should be at management level with a demonstrated track record of competence and success • Experience in museum practice relating to Natural History • Valid Code EB Driver’s licence • Membership of relevant professional associations for example SA Museum Association, ICOM (International Council of Museums), Archaeological Association • Leadership and Management experience • People Management skills • Presentation of papers and public speaking skills • Senior Management Report-writing • Proven academic research and writing ability • Multi-lingualism in South African languages • Problem Solving & Analysis skills

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salaries quoted above do not include benefits. Iziko benefits comprise generous contributions towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory), a designated medical aid (voluntary) and a housing subsidy (voluntary). Other employment conditions such as working hours and leave entitlement are also generous.
