An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualifications and experience to assume the position of Senior Auditor within Internal Audit Division

The successful candidates’ responsibilities will be to: 
 Plan, execute and report on operational, financial, risk and compliance audits in accordance with the IIA standards and audit methodology. 
 Provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment.
 Perform risk assessments. 
 Provide contribution to the continuous improvement of risk, governance and control. 
 Provide input into the three year coverage plan and annual audit plan. 
 Assist where required with Audit Committee Preparation. 
 Ensure continuous professional development. 
 QAR/Peer review work of others. 
 Supervise junior auditors and/or interns. 
 Perform consulting activities and ad hoc assignments as they arise. 
 Perform research and development as required. 
 Perform close-out workshops with management to address reported findings. 
 Comply with divisional policies and procedures. 
 
 
The following entry requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position: 
 Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in Internal Auditing/ Accounting/ Finance. 
 Four (4) years internal or external auditing experience. 
 Membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). 
 CIA/ CCSA/ CRMA/ CFSA/ CISA will be advantageous 
 In depth knowledge of the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. 
 Enterprise Wide Risk Management knowledge and experience (COSO model). 
 Knowledge of applicable techniques, tests and sampling methods. 
 In depth knowledge of Banks Act, PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Companies Act, IFRS, NCA and FICA 
 A fair knowledge of Regulations Relating to Banks 
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, including the ability to interview persons to extract relevant information. 
 The candidate must be deadline oriented and be able to work under extreme pressure. 
 Ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours in order to meet deadlines. 
 Ability and willingness to travel as required, and work under extreme audit pressure. 
 Driver’s license is compulsory.
