An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualifications and experience to plan, executes and finalise projects according to deadlines and within budgets.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be to:
Manage, control and deliver allocated IT projects.
Manage and Implement SD-WAN.
Manage and implement Office 365 cloud solution.
Liaise with the Steering Committee and Project Board to ensure overall direction and integrity of the project.
Monitor, evaluate and communicate project schedules.
Manage communication and change management plans.
Supervise project teams.
Ensure change management is effectively managed and delivered.
Manage project finance, administration and support.
Manage project risk
Manage project scope
Manage project quality and assurance.
Manage and monitor project configuration.
Manage Human Resources
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position:
Degree / National Diploma in Information Technology.
Project management certification (PMP or prince2) or relevant accredited course in Project Management.
Detailed understanding of current Project Methodologies
3 – 5 years job related experience in formal project management.
IT background with good understanding of IT Infrastructure and system development (SDLC).
Project experience in technical and telco environments as well as LAN, WAN & VOIP skills & routing & switching knowledge essential.
Experience in working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment is essential.
Knowledge of statistics and probability to critically interrogate and effectively communicate findings problems.
Experience working with and understanding SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications.
Advanced knowledge of project tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Projects)
Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies and diverse group of people.
Proven project and people management skills.
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
Must be proactive and able to take initiative.
Strong finance and administration skills.
Ability to read communication styles of team members.
Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
