RE-ADVERTISEMENT
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Maintenance Coordinator will perform all tasks related to the maintenance and general upkeep of Ithala Development Finance Corporation Property portfolio.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be:
• Inspect and identify maintenance requirements.
• Implement maintenance schedule and programmes.
• Monitor and report to delegated Occupational Health and Safety Manager, service provider’s adherence and compliance to Occupational Health and Safety.
• Attend to Customer Queries.
• Attend to maintenance related logged calls, queries and complaints.
• Liaise with, and / attend meetings with tenants when necessary.
• Attend to maintenance administration.
• Fulfil responsibilities in relation to Ithala’s SCM approved procurement administrative requirements and evaluation process.
The following minimum requirements must be met to be considered for this position:
• Min. NQF Level 5 qualification in the Building/Engineering field.
• National Diploma in the Building/Engineering field will be advantageous.
• Quantity surveying qualifications will be advantageous.
• 5 years’ trade experience in a property related field.
• MS Office Packages
• Driving license
Requisite Functional Competencies
• Must have good planning and technical skills.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety provisions.
• Report writing skills.
• Service Orientated.
• Must have excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to communicate in IsiZulu will be advantageous.
