An Enterprise Architect will define the organisation’s enterprise architecture, manage its roadmap, and foster the development of the necessary skills and experience among architecture staff. 
 
 
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will be to
• Design, develop and implement enterprise architecture. 
• Advise and recommend enterprise architecture strategies, process and methodologies. 
• Recommend the automation and digitisation of business processes. 
• Align IT service delivery to optimised business process. 
• Implement the strategy for the development of Enterprise Architecture work. 
• Ensure adequate information and data management for the organization. 
• Implement document and records management system throughout the organisation. 
• Ensure accessibility of useful information for Ithala to do business, including decision-making. 
• Provide advice on new trends in information and knowledge management. 
• Ensure improved agility of IT to meet business needs. 
• Ensure high customer service levels. 
• Ensure effective management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 
• Conduct satisfaction surveys of departments and business units. 
• Manage Human Resources 
 
 
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position: 
• Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science. 
• Post Graduate qualification in IT / Computer Science will be advantageous. 
• Architecture certification that is internationally recognized. 
• 7 years’ IT experience of which a minimum of 3 years should be in the Enterprise Solution and Integration Architecture/Business Process Design. Minimum 3 years management experience. 
• Experience in the use of an Enterprise Architecture modelling tool is a prerequisite. 
 
Requisite Functional Competencies 
• Presentation skills. 
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written). 
• Competent in using Visio or equivalent tools. 
• Understanding of Risk Management. 
• Management, Negotiation and Leadership skills. 
• Problem solving, time driven, Analytical thinker and good interpersonal skills 
• Exposure and experience with 4IR technologies and advantage – Ai, Blockchain and Data analytics.
