MANAGER, AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
(APDP) VERIFICATIONS: TARIFF INVESTIGATIONS II 
Total remuneration package R869 007 per annum: (Ref: ITAC 01/2021)
 
 
Minimum requirements: A degree or equivalent qualification in accounting, auditing and or financial management. A postgraduate degree in one of these will be an added advantage. Three years experience in financial analysis or auditing. Exposure in compliance/ enforcement environment. A solid understanding of the role of ITAC. Good understanding of the Industrial Policy Action Plan (IPAP) with regards to the motor industry. Good understanding of the Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP). Proven experience in financial analysis, audit, project management, research, report writing and presentation skills. 
 
Key responsibilities: Manage verifications on Production Rebate Credit Certificates (PRCCs) to ensure correct reduction in duties applied and calculated in a prescribed manner. Manage verifications on Form C1 to ensure that the correct imported component value is declared for the calculation of duties payable. Manage verifications on applications for Company Specific Percentage (CSP), to ensure that the Volume Assembly Allowance (VAA) applied for is correct. 
Ensure compliance with the APDP policies and procedures. Assist the Commission in its considerations and decision-making regarding the investigations. Interpret policies and Commission’s decisions to the stakeholders. Represent ITAC at various forums and interact with other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with the World Trade Organization (WTO) framework and relevant ITAC policies and procedures. Provide input to the management on the review and alignment of the relevant policies, regulations, guidelines and practises. Assist the Senior Manager with budget planning and management. Provide support to the sub-units conducting tariff amendment investigations. Manage human resources.
