PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of risk management, business continuity, compliance, ethics, and fraud prevention strategies within the organisation. Assist in the implementation of a Risk Management Framework as well as embedding risk management practices within the organisation. Facilitation of the risk identification and assessment processes. The incumbent will be assisting in developing processes to monitor the implementation of risk action plans and the development of reports for the relevant structures.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS – OUTPUTS
Risk Management
Participate in the review of the Risk Management Framework. Implementation of the Risk Management Implementation Plan; Facilitating the identification, assessment, management and monitoring of organisational risks, Update and manage the organisation’s risk registers. Tracking and communicating the status of the implementation of mitigation plans. Assist management in ensuring that appropriate control measures are introduced to address matters raised in audit findings Support the establishment of a risk management culture in the organisation including advocacy. Analyse information and Prepare reports.

Business Continuity
- Participate in the review of the Business Continuity Polices and Plans.
- Coordinate and participate in the testing of the business continuity plans and recommend improvements.
Compliance
- Maintain INSETA Regulatory Universe
- Develop/ Review Compliance Risk Management Plans
- Monitor the implementation of the identified actions to improve compliance
- Prepare quarterly reports on CRMP
- Keep abreast of legislative developments that may impact INSETA and update the regulatory universe accordingly
Fraud and Ethics
- Participate in the review of the Fraud Prevention Policy
- Co-facilitate Fraud Risk Assessments for the organisation and develop Fraud Prevention Plan
- Monitor implementation of Fraud Prevention Plan
- Prepare quarterly reports on Fraud Prevention activities within INSETA
- Coordinate Fraud and Awareness sessions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
- NQF Level 6 Diploma or equivalent in Risk Management, Accounting, Auditing, or related field
Experience
- A 3 – 5 years’ experience in either Risk Management, Compliance, Integrity Management or Business Continuity
- IRMSA membership
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge
- Knowledge of legislations governing SETAs
- Knowledge of COSO, King IV and ISO31000.
- Good understanding of Enterprise risk management principles.
- Relevant compliance standards and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of Ethics and Fraud Prevention.
- Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Management
- Awareness of the SETA landscape.
Skills
- Facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong communication both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and listening skills.
