Overview
Electoral Matters intends to appoint a project manager (PM) to manage the national and nine provincial results operation centers (ROCs) Local Government Elections (LGE) 2021. The position of PM for the 10 ROCs is a full time task that requires specialist skills, experience and knowledge.  The appointed ROC PM will report to the Senior Manager: Electoral Matters and will be required to work with a cross-functional team of managers and staff at national and provincial offices of the Electoral Commission.
 
Responsibilities/Duties
• Establish & project manage the national & nine provincial Result Operations Centers (ROC) for Local Government Elections (LGE) 2021.
• Assist the Provincial Electoral Officers with conceptualizing, designing, procurement and contracts management in the establishment of nine provincial ROCs
• Liaise with, and co-ordinate, the activities of the multiple service providers to the national and provincial ROCs, including Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and telecommunications infrastructure, facilities and catering management, events management, security service providers, and various media such as digital and print
• Maintain a project plan for the national and nine provincial ROCs
• At the completion of the project, draft a close-out report for the project, including a master plan on establishing and managing the 10 ROCs
