PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION ADMINISTRATOR

PORTFOLIO : PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT SERVICES UNIT
PURPOSE : To provide administration support and co-ordinate the activities of the Programme Implementation Managers and to monitor the programme budget
REPORTING : PROGRAMME MANAGER
 
REQUIREMENTS: Formal Qualification: Minimum of a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting and/or Admin. Computer literacy. Work Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in a development, preferably in the financial environment Computer literate with in-depth knowledge and understanding of spreadsheets i.e. Excel, MS Word and Database programme and Financial information analysis. Competencies: Programme Management Cycle, Great Plains, Administration Management, File Management System, Cost Control Methodology, Policies and Procedures, Payment Processing Methods, Inventory Management, Office Administration, Minute taking, Report writing and Project Admin. Skills: Computer Literacy, Communication, Interpersonal, Problem Solving, Administration, Organising, Secretarial, Filling, Analytical Ability, Data Capturing, Typing, Co-ordination and Queries Handling.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Contribute to programme initiation and planning, administer programme budge transfers, provide programme implementation and quality management support, administer purchase order requisitions, administer payment requisitions, administer programme budget information, Contribution to programme completion and handover, Administer and control petty cash, provide programme administration support, administer programme information and handle Accounts.

PURPOSE : To monitor and report on financial progress of projects, undertake project financial reconciliations, approve expenses, and ensure that project invoices are issued to customers and payments collected
REPORTING : ADMIN AND FINANCE MANAGER
 
REQUIREMENTS: Formal Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 6) in Accounting and/or Cost Management Accounting. Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in financial management environment 3 of which should have been in financial and/or cost management accounting. Competencies: Project accounting, Financial administration, Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial ration analysis, Accounting Packages, Budgeting and cost control, Billing procedure. Skills: Bookkeeping, Planning, Analytical, Interpersonal, Observation, problem solving, Computer literacy, Transactional processing, Information system and document management, Report writing, Client orientation and customer focus

Formal Qualification: Minimum qualification, 3-year degree or BTech / diploma in administration, finance or related field. Proven competency in office productivity systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email). Work Experience: None. Or one-year experience, in admin or related role, if no certification – post matric is available. Competencies: Planning, Filing systems, Document control, Office Administration, Ability to maintain high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information, Operational knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. Skills: Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Problem Solving skills, Computer literacy skills, Organising skills, Creativity skills, Effective time management skills and Accuracy and efficiency skills.
