JOB TITLE : PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

SALARY RANGE : Total Annual Package (CTC) R488,825.00 – R611,032.00
LOCATION : ICASA (Head Office- Eco Park, Centurion)
POSITION STATUS : Two year fixed-term contract
Purpose of the job
The position is responsible for providing administrative support to the office of the Senior Manager: Project Management with respect to the following projects:
• Licensing of high demand (IMT) spectrum;
• Licensing of an Individual Electronic Communications Network Service Licence for the provision of wholesale electronic communications network services (referred to as the WOAN);
• Data services market review and related projects;
• Implementation of the Radio Frequency Migration plan 2019; and
• Implementation of the IMT Roadmap 2019 and Radio Frequency Assignment Plans. The role is expected to employ effective organisational and administrative processes, together with knowledge and/or experience of project management best practices, to facilitate the successful achievement of the objectives of the above mentioned projects.

Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager: Project Management, and responsibilities will include: ● Project Management and Administration ● Makes sure that all project correspondence, documentation, plans, research, representations and reports are filed in accordance with the Authority’s records management framework ● Makes sure that all minutes relating to the identified projects, including Steerco Meetings, are completed and filed appropriately ● Assist in the editing and proof reading of documents relating to the identified projects including formatting and layout of such documentation ● Assist in the tracking of project documents and reporting deadlines with respect to both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience ● Bachelor's degree in English, library science, journalism or other relevant field ● 2 to 4 years demonstrated experience in Project Administration ● Proficiency in software, including MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook), MS Project and MS Visio ● General research skills ● Administrative and facilitation skills to keep projects focused on objectives.
