JOB TITLE : LICENSING OFFICER – NORTHERN CAPE
JOB LEVEL : B4
SALARY : Total Annual Package (CTC) – R301,172.00
LOCATION : ICASA (Regional Office – Northern Cape - Kimberley)
POSITION STATUS : Permanent
Purpose of the job
To provide critical skills and support with regards to License processing of Class ECS/ ECNS Licenses and licensing the Postal Service Sector, in particular the Unreserved Postal Service licenses. ● Licensing processing includes New application processing, Renewal applications, amendments and license transfers. ● Upkeep and maintenance of an up to date Regional License database of all licensees in the Province.
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager: Northern Cape, and their responsibilities will include: ● Processing and issuing of pre-assigned license applications and class License applications (ECS/ECNS and Unreserved Postal Services) and other Licensing related functions within ICASA’s scope. ● Spectrum Licensing Database management ● Queries/Complaints handling ● Stakeholder Management (Internal and External) ● Maintain Organizational Licensing filling system ● Participation in Organizational Council Committees.
Qualifications and Experience: ● Three-year academic Diploma or relevant NQF 6 qualification In Business Administration or related field, Commerce, Law or General Management Qualifications ● Relevant Administration Experience, Minimum 5 years in license administration ● Minimum 3 years in records management ● Minimum 3 years in complaints handling and resolution ● Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service ● Valid Drivers License ● Proficient in MS Office ● Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (added advantage).

Ability to work independently and under pressure environment.
