JOB TITLE LICENSING OFFICER: NORTHERN CAPE 
JOB LEVEL : B4 
SALARY: Total Annual Package (CTC) – R270,589.00 
REPORTS TO : Regional Manager: Northern Cape 
LOCATION: ICASA (Regional Office – Northern Cape) 
POSITION STATUS : Permanent 
 
Purpose of the job 
To process ECN, ECNS, Broadcasting and unreserved postal services applications as well as issue pre-assigned radio frequency spectrum licenses including the maintenance of the license records database and the continuous improvement of processing applications. 
 
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager: Northern Cape, and their responsibilities will include: ● Process pre-assigned license applications including the issuing of the license ● Processing of ECN and ECNS license applications ● Processing of unreserved postal license applications ● Processing of Broadcasting services license applications ● Maintain licensing database ● Maintain a filing system ● Complaints/ queries handling and escalation. 
 
 
Qualifications and Experience: â— Three year academic Diploma or relevant NQF 6 qualification ● 2-3 years in license administration ● 2-3 years in records management ● 2-3 years in complaints handling and resolution ● Proficient in MS Office ● Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools (added advantage).
