JOB TITLE INVENTORY CONTROLLER
JOB LEVEL : B3
SALARY : Total Annual Package (CTC) – R236,100.00
LOCATION : ICASA (Head Office-Sandton)
POSITION STATUS: Permanent

 
Purpose of the job
The purpose of this position is to effectively administrate inventory for ICASA by ordering, receiving and issuing inventory items and to ensure that optimum levels of inventory levels are maintained at all times.
 
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor: Procurement and their responsibilities will include: ● Co-ordinate the process of inventory ●Liaising with departments to ascertain their requirements ● Co-ordinate initiatives aimed at the implementation of the inventory policies and procedure ● Adhere to procurement and purchasing procedures in line with ICASA Financial manual ● Organise inventory stock take and make recommendation on the disposal of surplus and slow moving items ● Supervise and prepare the stock sheet for stock take and ensure that the stock room is kept in good order, clean and tidy ● Ensure that all supplier database submissions are filed accordingly and assist in general administration functions in the buyers office.
 
 
Qualifications and Experience ● Relevant Higher Certificate or similar qualification (NFQ L5) ● 2–3 years in inventory management including: Stock take, Purchasing, Receipting, Issuing and Month End and Year End Stock reconciliations ● 2–4 years working experience.
