JOB TITLE : COMPLIANCE OFFICER (12 MONTHS CONTRACT)
JOB LEVEL : B4
SALARY : Total Annual Package (CTC) – R255,122.00
LOCATION : ICASA (Head Office-Eco Park, Centurion
POSITION STATUS : 12 months contract
Purpose of the job
To support divisions/Departments in complying with the regulatory requirements (laws, regulations and supervisory requirements (rules, codes and self-regulatory organisational standards) applicable to the ICASA ● Facilitating the implementation, management and maintenance of the compliance methodology planning, coordination and consultation, and strategic initiatives ● Associated with international affairs consultation on spectrum planning matters.
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Specialist: Risk and Compliance Management, and their responsibilities will include: ● Compliance risk identification and Assessment ● Compliance Monitoring ● Compliance Reporting and Communication ● Conduct research, training, workshops or presentations on topical matters.
Qualifications and Experience: ● 3 or 4 year Degree or Diploma in Auditing, Business Management or Law ● Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant practical compliance management experience ● Understanding of legislations, ICASA Act , Broadcasting Act, PFMA, King Reports on Corporate Governance principles (King III and IV, PAIA, POPI, etc,) ● Computer literate in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
