JOB TITLE ANALYST – ACCESS TO ICT SERVICES 
JOB LEVEL : C4 
SALARY : Total Annual Package (CTC) – R611,032.00 
LOCATION : ICASA (Head Office – Eco Park, Centurion) 
POSITION STATUS : Permanent 

Purpose of the job 
To conduct research on regulatory policies relating to access to ICT services in line with the mandate of ICASA and its underpinning legislation. To assist the Manager in developing regulatory agenda to support the future growth path of the ICT sectors including postal services. 
 
 
Key Outputs: The successful candidate will report to the Manager: Access to ICT Services, and responsibilities will include: ● Conducting research into socio-economic issues relating to access to ICT services ● Conducting Regulatory Impact Assessment ● Keeping abreast with developments in the regulation of postal services ● Conducting workshops and making presentations to stakeholders as and when required ● Analyse written and oral submissions; Compiling and writing consultative and policy documents ● Drafting regulations ● Making presentations to stakeholders on various ICT issues. 
 
Qualifications and Experience: ● 3 years Degree (NQF L7) in relevant fields such as Social Science, Developmental Economics or Law ● 3-5 years professional experience ● At least 2 years of professional experience must be in conducting research on social issues ● Proven track record of conducting research in the social sciences, law and Broadcasting policy ● Proven track record of working with qualitative and quantitative methods ● Proven track record on conducting research and drafting research reports ● Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
