POSITION: EXTENDED PUBLIC WORKS PROGRAMME – INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ADVERT 
 
The Big 5 Hlabisa Local Municipality seeks to appoint on a limited twelve months’ contract employees to participate on an Extended Public works programme strictly regulated by both Ministerial Determination 4 of 2012 and EPWP recruitment guidelines. 
 
 
Minimum Requirements: - 
  • An appropriate level of primary education 
  • Ability to work under pressure. 
  • Minimum of three to six months’ cleaning experience. 
  • Ability to liaise with all stakeholders and other team players. 
  • Be able to communicate in IsiZulu and preferable in English. 
 
Key Performance Areas Include but not limited to: 
  • Internal & External cleaning of Municipal facilities 
  • Keep cleaning materials on a lockable place and washing of utensils. 
  • Refuse removal and management of waste bins. 
  • Sweeping, mopping and stripping of the floors. 
  • Perform any general work as delegated by Supervisor.
