LEARNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES X 20

Matriculants who obtained their Grade 12 certificate are hereby invited to apply for an NQF 4 learnership opportunity in the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) sector. Applicants MUST not have done ANY training funded by the MICT Seta or any other Seta in the past two (2) years.
Name of Learning Programme: FETC: IT – Technical Support (NQF L4) SAQA 78964
Duration: Twelve (12) Months (6 months theory and 6 months practical)
Start & End Date: ± 1 September 2025 till ± 31 August 2026
Training/Class Days: Monday to Friday - 08h30 till 16h00
Training Venue: Riversdale Thusong centre
Stipend: R2500 per month
Minimum Requirements:
- Hessequa Municipality application form (obtainable from Municipal Offices during normal office hours, as well as from our website)
- A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae
- Certified copy - Grade 12 Matric certificate
- The ability to use a personal computer competently (This may be tested with a practical assessment)
- Certified copy of South African Identity Document (not older than 3 months)
- Proof of residential address (municipal account) - Must reside in the Hessequa area
- Certified copy of Identification document (ID) - Must be between the ages of 18 to 35
- Own transport to be used to get to the training venue – confirmation hereof

Learning Programme Benefits – when completed:
A Qualifying learner at this level will be a well-rounded entry-level Technical Support professional with a good fundamental knowledge of the Information Technology field, coupled with interpersonal and business skills, allowing for specialisation in one of the following Technical Support fields:
- Hardware and Infrastructure Support for Personal Computers
- Hardware and Infrastructure Support for Office Products
- Data Communications and Networking and any new field not specified yet, allowing for new specialisations in this area
