The Hessequa Municipality requires the services of a suitable person in the following permanent vacancy:
 
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR: INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY – RIVERSDALE
(Ref: K107) T12 – R394 551 to R512 155 gross salary per annum
 
Requirements: A tertiary NQF6 Diploma (360 credits) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field • Code B driver’s license • Computer literate • Must be able to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape • Two years’ experience in a similar position, will serve as recommendation.
 
Duties: Compile and maintain system documentation for all hardware and software in line with the ICT Governance Framework • Perform proactive maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of ICT servers • Manage user access on Active Directory in line with the User Access Management Policy • Do pro-active maintenance and ensure optimal functioning of the virtual ICT Server environment (Nutanix & MS Hyper-V) • System analysis & reporting on ICT governance compliance • Procurement and Asset Management • Contract Management • Test and implement disaster recovery procedures • Keep track of latest security threats and recommendations • Review virus logs on a daily basis • Manage patch updates using Windows/Microsoft Update Services.

(Ref: K029) T7 – R198 344 to R257 461 gross salary per annum
 
Requirements: A Certificate (NQF5) in Human Resource Management • Code B driver’s license • Computer literate (Word, Excel, E-mail) • Good administrative and communication skills • Must be able to communicate in two of the three official languages of the Western Cape • One years’ experience in a similar position, as well as working knowledge of Morpho, Payday and Collaborator, will serve as recommendation.
 
Duties: Coordinate Leave, as well as the Time and Attendance system • Capture leave on Payday • Monitor and maintain the Time and Attendance biometric system • Compile reports • Register employees on the Morpho Biometric System • Link employees to the correct shift rosters • Handle enquiries • Reconciliation of leave with the time and attendance system • Monitor leave forfeitures • Conduct leave audits.

Requirements: Relevant three year tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or Bachelors Degree • Computer literate • Valid Code B driver’s license • Able to communicate in two of the official languages of the Western Cape • Three years’ relevant experience, will serve as recommendation.
 
Duties: Coordinate, schedule and facilitate sports seminars and workshops • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders • Promote sports events and youth development programs • Attend meetings • Compile reports • Identify sports development initiatives • Administrative tasks.
