SUPERVISOR / DRIVER (Water Services)

Salary: R193 663.68 per annum (Job level 12)
Job Purpose: To supervise, maintain and construct water networks and plant infrastructure.
Key Performance Areas: The Supervisor/Driver must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council Observes and supervises activities of team to ensure effective and efficient work performance and productivity by the team Observes and supervises utilisation, application and maintenance of equipment, tools and material to ensure optimal utilisation of resources Performs administrative and human resources related activities to ensure effective and optimal utilization of resources Maintains and constructs water distribution and plumbing infrastructure to ensure effective and efficient performance of related duties regarding the water distribution and plumbing infrastructure
Cleans water distribution plant, offices and surrounding area to ensure a clean and neat work environment Performs driver activities using a vehicle or truck to ensure the transporting of machinery, equipment and people to and from the workplace Perform any other related duties as instructed by Supervisor.
Requirements: Grade 10 Good communication skills Supervisory skills EC1 Drivers licence with PRDP 3 Years’ relevant experience in plumbing within the municipal environment Any theoretical or practical courses related to plumbing will serve as recommendation Incumbent must be a person with good health
