COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT 
1 x SENIOR LABOURER (Solid Waste Management) 
(Job Id Number: (6/3/2/087) 
Salary: R139 583.76 per annum (Job level 17) 
 
 
Job Purpose: Cleans and removes refuse from premises, streets, stands and ablution blocks to ensure a waste removal service to the community. 
 
Key Performance Areas: The Senior Labourer must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council Remove refuse from municipal ablution facilities, streets, green areas and overgrown stands Maintains de-composition pit Loads, unloads and carries equipment and material as instructed by Supervisor  Cleans and removal services of Offices, Garden, Medical Waste, Store Room  Maintains and cleans equipment and tools used to ensure the safekeeping and working condition thereof  Perform any other related duties as instructed by Supervisor. 
 
Requirements: Bilingualism Functional literacy Strong & Healthy to perform physical hard labour.
