​LECTURER (PERMANENT)

Salary: R 256 395.00 per annum.PL1
Ÿ(Ref no. GSC117/2024), Standerton: Engineering Studies
 
Minimum requirements: ŸAn appropriate recognized Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6), backed by professional qualification in Education equivalent to REQV 13ŸBe able to teach Welding (NCV) Level 2-4 in the Engineering and Related Design Programme ŸComputer literacy Ÿ Relevant Trade Test will be an added advantageŸSACE registration ŸA valid driver’s licence may be an advantage.  
 
Duties: ŸAssist with the recruitment of students and manage their induction, attendance records, performance assessment and determination of training needs, discipline and placement ŸLecture specified subjects on the level required ŸEnsure quality education and adherence to College and subject policies ŸLiaise with the students, parents and employers
 
 
 
 
 
GROUNDSMAN (CONTRACT)
Salary: R131 265.00 per annum. SL 2

Minimum requirements: Ÿ Grade 10 Certificate (Standard 8) 
 
Skills: ŸReadingŸOperating equipment Ÿ Communication (verbal and written)ŸPeople management ŸAdministrationŸAnalyticalŸProblem-solvingŸPlanning and organizingŸDisciplined.
 
Duties: ŸMaintain premises and surroundings, Clean premises, surroundings and empty dirt binsŸ Maintain the garden, Watering the garden, Prune and trim flowers and trees, Mow the grass, Remove weeds and garden refuse , Apply insecticides and cultivate the soil for trees and flowersŸ Maintain gardening equipment and toolsŸ Detect and report malfunctioning of gardening equipment and toolsŸ Repair minor defects of gardening equipment and tools ŸWash college vehicles ŸLoading, off-loading and movement of goods, stock and assets.
