BUSINESS UNIT OFFICER (FIVE YEARS CONTRACT)
Salary: R294 321 00. 00 p annum.

Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Business Management or any relevant qualification, Two years’ experience in Business EnvironmentMust be computer literate A valid driver’s Licence.
Competencies: Report writing, Research, Analytical thinking, Media relations, Ability to interpret relevant directive, Problem solving, Planning and organising, Interpersonal relationship, Communication.
Duties: Operating Tissue production equipment’s and ensuring full functionality of both produce tissue paper to set quality parameters Optimise machine efficiency in terms of products rate, process downtime and waste stock taking, ordering of raw material, distribution of finished products to customers Negotiate sales with potential clients Keeping records. Marketing initiative. Adhere to and implement all relevant standard operating procedures.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR: SUPPLY CHAIN (PERMANENT)
Salary: R 444 036.00 per annum. SR9
(Ref no. GSC34/2024), Head Office: Supply Chain Management
Minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain or Logistic or Public Management or Finance Management, Plus three years’ experience in Supply chain Management or Assets Management Environment at supervisory level.
Knowledge: Knowledge of assets disposal procedure Knowledge and understating of legislative framework governing the Public Services Knowledge of Assets Management Knowledge of Supply Chain Policies Knowledge of Department of Higher Education mandate.
Competencies: Administrative Planning and Organizing Financial Management Report Writing Communication and Interpersonal Problem Solving Computer literacy Analytical Client Oriented Project Management Team Leadership People Management Presentation Skills A valid driver’s licence.
Duties: Develop, review, implement and monitor SCM policies in line with relevant legislation Oversee all procurements of good and services and oversee the administration of demand and acquisition Manage preparation of logistics for the Specifications, Evaluation and Adjudication committees Serve as a guide to the Specifications, Evaluation and Adjudication Committee Ensure that adjudication is monitored and aligned with the preferential procurement strategy Establish the bid specification, bid evaluation, bid adjudication committee and oversee the proper functioning of the committee Supervision and performance management of the procurement section Execute duties as and when delegated by the CFO Ability to report on a weekly, monthly to the CFO and preparation of quarterly reports to the Council and subcommittees Undertake performance management development of relevant staff members.
