Title of the Job: Manager: Marketing, Communications and Stakeholder Relations Management
Grade / Level D (Paterson)
Location: Sandton
Salary: Market related

Overall Responsibility: To provide effective and efficient management of Marketing, Communications and Stakeholder services for GPF
Key Performance Areas:
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Marketing, Communications & Stakeholder Management unit
Manage effective external & internal communications
Manage effective Stakeholder Relations
Develop and implement Marketing and Advertising Plans
Establish an effective brand strategy for GPF
Engagement of all GPF stakeholders including the three Spheres of Government and Agencies
Provide Marketing support to investor relations management
Provide support to the Capital Raising unit in driving Investor Roadshows
Develop and implement Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and requisite operating tools;
Lead the unit towards the development and establishment of a high-performance organisation
Ensure sound ethics, good governance and compliance within the Marketing, Communications & Stakeholder Management function
Ensure accurate reporting in accordance with PFMA and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements and standards
Provide expert advice and support on all compliance implications in relation to Marketing, Communications & Stakeholder Management Services and provide comprehensive reporting to the Board and Sub-Committee’s on all Marketing, Communications & Stakeholder Management functional matters
Contribute to the development of GPF strategic and business plan, budget and risk mitigation
Qualification & Experience: Marketing, Public Relations and/or Communications Degree ● A Post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage ● Minimum 5 years’ experience in the relevant field in business or the public sector ● A solid track record in leading and managing significant change in a complex organization.
Competencies: Strong marketing and communication skills ● strategic management and stakeholder relations acumen ● Extensive understanding and experience in strategic and governance related matters ● Strong in managing complex stakeholder and media relationships ● Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations ● Expertise in strategic and business planning, budget management, project management, general management ● Strong and decisive leadership, people management skills and experience in change management ● Policy development ● Excellent communication skills ● Ability to be proactive and innovative.
