Loan Accounts Receivable Officer (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Salary: R217 998.00 to R371 000.00 per annum
Location: Sandton
Closing Date: 12 April 2021
Overall Responsibility: This role performs loan book servicing, collections on past due accounts and maintains Borrowers’ information in the various data systems within the GPF.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Preparation of statements for clients
2. Notifying clients on repayments
3. Writing arrears and default notice letters to Borrowers
4. Calculation of Borrowers’ instalment repayments
5. Updating Borrowers’ statements with repayments and changes to interest rates
6. Calculation of loan amortisation
7. Splitting of capital and interest from instalments received
8. Follow up of client repayments
9. Assist clients with debit order set-up
10. Calculation of loan book and loan book arrears
11. Preparation of arrears and aging reports
12. Capturing of data for account systems
13. Maintains document control registers
14. Labelling of all files
15. Preparation of files for month end, quarterly financial statements etc.
16. Scanning of all documents for month end, quarterly financial statements etc.
17. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in instalment payments or accounts
18. Assists in general administrative work.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree / B Comm degree in Finance, Accounting or related qualification at NQF level 7. At least 5 years proven experience as a Receivable/Collection Officer. A valid code EB driver’s license.
