THE GEP INVITES INTERESTED AND SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:
OFFICE COORDINATOR: OFFICE OF THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (OCEO)
Purpose of position
To provide administrative support to the office of the Chief Executive Officer
Key Responsibilities
• Manages the diary of the Chief Executive Officer.
• Screens telephone calls and takes messages
• Manages the content of emails and follows up on urgent emails to ensure they are actioned accordingly by the Chief Executive Officer
• Coordinates and consolidate monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Takes minutes at Chief Executive Officer’s meetings and distributes to the relevant role players.
• Follows up on Chief Executive Officer (CEO)’s correspondences to other departments or stakeholders
• Maintains an effective filing system for all documentations.
• Assists the Chief Executive Officer in monitoring projects and produces reports on project status.
• Ensures that all direct reports of the Chief Executive Officer have signed performance agreement in place.
• Attends to all personal matters of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) when required.
• Ensures implementation of instructions and communications by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
• Coordinates and facilitates liaison with internal and outside stakeholders.
• Assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with ad-hoc tasks.

Minimum Requirements and Experience
• National Diploma in Public/Office Administration, Management, or NQF level 6 relevant equivalent qualification.
• 3 years’ experience in a secretarial role for the Senior Manager.
• Intermediate to advance computer literacy skills in Ms Office packages.
