Gauteng Enterprise Propeller (GEP) is a Provincial Government agency established under the auspices of the Department of Economic Development, to provide non-financial support; financial support; and co-ordinate stakeholders for the benefit of SMMEs in Gauteng
THE GEP INVITES INTERESTED AND SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:
ADMIN OFFICER: INVENTORY (HEAD OFFICE)
Purpose of position is to provide support within the Facilities management Unit including, Compliance to Legislative and Policy prescripts, Inventory, Facilities and Auxiliary services including Office stationery, Fleet Management, Security and Cleaning Services and Office Accommodation
Key Responsibilities:
• Filing/storage, tracing (electronically/manually) and retrieval of documents
• Conduct stock inventory and manage stock levels of office supplies
• Provide administrative duties in Facilities (Security, Cleaning, Record, Fleet and Office maintenance.
• Liaise with outsourced service providers and monitor their SLA.
• Assist with maintaining all calls logged on facilities helpdesk
• Assist in overseeing facilities related projects
• Oversee all Agency’s mail (collection and distribution)
• Processing of Facilities related invoices
• Provide admin support in compliance to legislative prescripts
Minimum Requirements:
• NQF level 5 Certificate in Record/Facilities/Logistics Management.
• Minimum of two years in administrative/records/inventory/facilities area

• Knowledge of the of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1992, National Archives and Record Service of South Africa Act (previously National Archives of South Africa) 43 of 1996 and related Legislative prescripts.
• Flexible
• Interpersonal skills
• Communication skills
• Work independently and in a team
• Computer literate in Ms Office packages
