Requirements :

  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Medical Practitioner. Current registration with HPCSA as Medical Practitioner, HPCSA registration for April 2026/March 2027. Work experience and recognised courses and qualifications related to obstetrics and gynaecology will be an advantage. Ability to function independently and be part of a multidisciplinary team. Applicant must be solution-oriented and have good decision-making skills.

 

Duties :

  • The incumbent will be responsible to provide safe, ethical and high quality medical care. Manage Obstetrics and Genealogical services. Participation in all activities of the disciplines in relation to teaching departmental audit activities, implementation of quality improvement programmes. Supervise junior doctors( Undergraduate students, interns and community service doctors.) Attendance of academic programs. and Administrative meetings. Participate in monitoring and evaluation programme. Have good work ethic including been punctual at work. Willing to participate in normal and after hours medical service. (COT). Duties to provide continuous uninterrupted care of patients.
