Requirements
Diploma/Degree in nursing that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse. Diploma/Degree in nursing administration will be an added advantage. A minimum of 8 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing as a professional nurse. At least 3 years of the period above must be appropriate/recognizable experience at management level. Certified copy of the current SANC receipt. Good communication, report writing and facilitation skills. Co-ordination, liaison, leadership and analytical skills. Problem solving, negotiation, planning and organizing and change management skills. Ability to network and manage information.
 
Duties
Delegate, supervise and co-ordinate the provision of effective and efficient patient care through adequate nursing care. Initiate and participate in health promotion to ensure consistent communication of relevant, accurate and comprehensive information on health care. Develop/establish and maintain constructive working relationships with nursing and other stakeholders. Participate in the analysis formation and implementation of nursing guidelines, practices, standards and procedures. Manage Human Resource. Monitor and ensure proper utilization of financial and physical resources.
