INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME
The Free State Provincial Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA) presents exciting opportunities/positions for the unemployed graduates between the ages of 18 and 35 through its Internship Programme. Successful applicants will be appointed as interns for 24 months and will undergo on-the-job development training in technical, professional, public service, business and life skills relevant and crucial for them to enter the formal job market. Through the internship programme, the Department aims to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates (graduates with degrees or diplomas) as potential employees.
The opportunities positions presented are categorised as follows:
1. Employment / job seekers
This category of opportunities calls for qualified unemployed graduates in fields of study required by the DESTEA. The reference number is indicated next to the directorate / branch / component and candidates shall be allocated accordingly in the table below. Candidates must be entering the internship programme in government for the first time.
Stipend: To be determined according to the Remuneration Schedule for Interns as stipulated by the Department of Public Service and Administration.
