JOB IDENTIFICATION

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To administer monitoring, evaluation and reporting to all business units.
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Administer the implementation of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and achievement of Annual Performance Plan (APP) targets.
• Administer M&E monitoring tools;
• Administer performance validation;
• Facilitate accurate reports related to current status of all POEs;
• Administer organisational Theory of Change and the M&E Plan;
• Coordinate FASSET departmental operational plans;
• Administer site visit schedule informed by identifying slow-moving projects within the  Commitment Register based on the implementation plan;
• Implement site visit schedule, produce site visit reports, update and monitor the site visit tracker.
• Administer strategic priorities outlined on the Sector Skills Plan (SSP) to inform the M&E chapter.
• Administer evaluation proposals with clear scope of work and methodologies.
• Develop tools for qualitative and quantitative evaluation studies.
• Sample the respondents for the evaluation study.
• Support the M&E Specialist in the circulation of the survey and data collection.
• Administer data analysis from the evaluation studies.
• Administration of evaluation reports;
 
SUMMARY
• Support M&E Specialist to disseminate findings from evaluation studies.
• Administer an evaluation implementation report and tracking system.
• Administer SETMIS frameworks to optimise operations.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Qualification
• National Diploma at NQF level 6 in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Science or Statistics or Internal Audit or Business Management or Public Administration or Project Management or relevant and equivalent qualification.
• A Post Graduate Qualification is an added advantage;
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential:
• Minimum of 2 experience within the Monitoring and Evaluation environment.
• Experience in the Public Sector/SETA’s M&E an added advantage;
• Exposure in implementation of programmes/projects an added advantage;

DATE OF COMMENCEMENT

FASSET requires applications for a permanent Administrator: Monitoring and Evaluation to join existing team as of 1 April 2025.
 
TOTAL COST TO COMPANY
The TCTC to be offered for this position is R 351 112,21 p.a (TCTC-non-negotiable)
 
ASSESSMENT
