PURPOSE OF THE JOB
FASSET invites suitable candidates to apply for a Fixed Term for 36 months (estimated duration of the project) ICT subject to renewal position of Project Manager – Development and ICT Systems Governance. The role will entail interfacing between Fasset and the ICT Service Providers. 
 
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key performance and results areas amongst others are as follows: ▪ Project execution according to best practice guidelines; ▪ General management of the project including report on project progress and project risks; ▪ Project integration management and overall change control; ▪ Project scope management; ▪ Project time management, including activity definition; ▪ Project cost management; ▪ Project quality management, including quality planning and execution; ▪ Project human resource management, including organisational planning and team development; Providing post implementation support including: ▪ Managing third party vendors; ▪ Managing Change control; ▪ Managing Information Security; ▪ Tracking POPIA compliance and report to any risk exposures; ▪ Managing compliance with adopted ICT standards and frameworks.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Qualification
▪ Three (3) year tertiary qualification in ICT (BSc or National Diploma) and ▪ Project Management Certification (PMBOK or Prince II).
 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: ▪ Five (5) years’ experience in ICT; ▪ Five (5) years’ experience in ICT project management environment. 
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Knowledge (Essential): ▪ Implementation of Project Management Methodologies ▪ Public Risk Management Framework ▪ King IV Corporate Governance ▪ ICT Service Management ▪ Public Financial Management Act ▪ Understanding of the SETA Framework ▪ Understanding of ISO 27000 series ▪ Understanding ITIL 
 
Skills (Essential): ▪ Project Management skills ▪ Managing project communication ▪ Analytical thinking ▪ Project risk, incident and problem management ▪ Managing project quality ▪ Managing contracts and supporting SLA’s ▪ Managing project integration ▪ Managing project conflict ▪ Managing project schedule management ▪ Project facilitation ▪ Migration planning and implementation ▪ Change Management and end-user support ▪ Change Control Management.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
▪ Valid South African driver’s license and own transportation
 
Date of Commencement of Position
Fasset requires applications for a Fixed Term (36 months) of a Project Manager – Development and ICT Systems Governance to join the existing team as soon as possible.
 
Salary
The salary range to be offered for this position is D-Upper
