JOB IDENTIFICATION
Department: Operations
Reporting Line: Operations Manager
Full-time/Part-time/Contract: Permanent 
 
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
▪ The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate all the Occupational Health and Safety aspects within the Operations department at Fasset
▪ To perform all the Occupational Health and Safety administration duties in line with the required OHS policy standards. 
 
 
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
▪ Ensure that all the OHS protocols are implemented in line with the Fasset Health and Safety Policy
▪ Administration of all facilities/ operations in line with the Fasset OHS Environmental policy
▪ Responsible for updating and maintenance of all office checklist
▪ Participate in the OHS Forum
▪ Departmental support function
▪ Administer all SCM related requirements in terms of OHS required by the Operations Manager
▪ Liaise with the Landlord on all matters pertaining to building safety and security
▪ Stakeholder Management with the following:
  • Department of Labour.
  • Compensation Commissioner
  • SHE Requirements
  • Security Requirements to an extent
  • Relevant service providers
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
3 Year Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
NQF level 6
 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: ▪ 3 years’ experience in a similar role
▪ A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Occupational, Health and safety role. Operations/facilities experience will be an advantage.
▪ Experience in the Seta environment advantageous
 
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED AND WORK OUTPUT
Critical Competencies: ▪ Occupational Health and Safety Skills.
▪ Knowledge of the Occupational and Safety Health.
▪ 2 – 3 years’ experience in Occupational and safety environment, a preference.
▪ Ability to plan, organize and prioritize

▪ End to end understanding of the safety environment.
▪ Office Administration
▪ Understanding of the Facilities, end to end process.
MS office
