JOB TITLE:  Outreach Brand Stakeholder Manager

PURPOSE
The incumbent will be responsible for improving and enhancing the perceptions and experiences of clients and the public and also lead specific stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and issues and inform review and enhancement of services and service delivery.
 
 
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATES:  
 Degree in Communications, Specialising Brand Digital/Media Relations Management and Stakeholder Relations or Advanced Diploma in Digital Marketing or other relevant Business Management Degree
 A minimum of 5 years managerial / operational experience in Stakeholder Management
 An established track record in the field of Digital Brand management or Media Relations and stakeholder relations.
 
REQUIREMENTS:   Member of a Marketing/Communication Professional Body

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Leadership Role
 Brand enhancement and Reputation Management
 Reposition the FP&M SETA
 Develop and maintain branding and visual identity guidelines
 Design and execute Stakeholder Engagement Surveys
 Timeous, Professional Management of sponsorship for Branded purposes
 
Stakeholder management
 Ensure the SETA participation in stakeholder outreach programmes
 Leveraging of SETA/stakeholder communication opportunities
 Manage the call center
 Be the stakeholder & communication liaison officer
 Conduct customer satisfaction surveys
 Implement rigorous communications campaign promoting all SETA interventions
 Responsible for strategic direction and execution of all internal and external communications
 
Media Management
 Assist the organisation to tell the Stories
 Facilitate media interviews for the CEO and management
 Establish and maintain contacts with local and national media to ensure that all opportunities for positive exposure are fully explored
 Work on the intranet and internet site developing and maintaining content
 Respond to queries (emails/telecoms) within 72 hours
 
Media Management
 Assist the organisation to tell the Stories
 Facilitate media interviews for the CEO and management
 Establish and maintain contacts with local and national media to ensure that all opportunities for positive exposure are fully explored

 Respond to queries (emails/telecoms) within 72 hours
 
Policy development and review
 Control and regulate organisational communication
 Develop, review, revise and implement policies as required processes
 
Reporting
 Write, edit and work on publications of articles, magazines and other organisational reports
 Preparation and proof reading of statutory reports
Submit reports to relevant structures as required Audit and Risk
 Liaise with Auditors and manage audit process, while ensuring that all recommendations from Auditors are adequately addressed
 Identify and mitigate risks
 
Administrative duties
 Tracking and tracing of complaint enquiries and ensuring that effective successful resolution of client/stakeholders queries
 Execute general office administration
 Prepare PowerPoint presentations as required by the CEO
 Performs related work as required
 
Performance Management
 Efficiently manage the unit utilizing high technological solutions
 Ensure knowledge transfer and capacity building of staff within the division
 Manage the performance of staff assigned to the department
 Liaise with the HR division in conducting performance appraisals and ensure competency and training gaps are addressed
