MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Station & Post Number: Giants Castle – 208833, Midmar Resort – 228343
Total Remuneration Package: R 272 194,67 (Grade B Upper) 
 
 
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide an effective and efficient maintenance support service to the resort by assessing and performing maintenance activities and supervise maintenance processes to achieve targeted outputs in the resort.
 
Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • A N3 Certificate in either Plumbing or Carpentry or Electricity or Bricklaying
  • Valid Driver’s Licence code 10 with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) 
 
Experience
  • 2 years’ experience in the built environment
  • 1 years’ experience as a foreman/supervisor in a built environment

  • Preventative Maintenance Planning
  • Water and Waste Water Plant Maintenance 
  • Tools and Equipment Maintenance and Storage
  • Building and Infrastructure Maintenance
  • Occupational Health and Safety Act Compliance
  • Staff Supervision
 
 
Key Competencies Required
  • Basic knowledge of the OHS legislation 
  • Mechanical, electrical, bricklaying, plumbing, carpentry and welding knowledge
  • Problem solving skills
  • Analytical thinking
