EXECUTIVE MANAGER: ENFORCEMENT AND COMPLIANCE (HEAD OFFICE)

 
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
To lead and direct the EAAB Compliance
Management function by ensuring the implementation of appropriate policies, processes, systems, procedures and guidelines to manage complaints, report breach of conduct by Estate Agents.
Implement dispute resolution and disciplinary measures, manage claims against the Fund and recover money owed to the Fund in order to ensure that consumers are protected and Estate Agents adheres to the standard code of conduct as provided for in the Estate Agency Affairs Act.
 
REQUIREMENTS
• LLB and Admitted attorney/advocate
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience after admission
• Legal practices, procedures and regulations
• Sound understanding of the industry and business environment
• Legislation applicable to EAAB, FICA and NQF
• Understanding of compliance and risk management methodologies
• Sound understanding of business procedures, rules and processes
• Excellent Data Analysis & Judgment
• Sound Creativity and Innovation
• Networking and Influencing
• Financial Management
• Good leadership skills
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic support to the CEO by providing insight and recommendations to the CEO
- regarding divisional changes.
• Financial Management in ensuring that annual functional budgets are prepared in accordance with published guidelines
• Optimization of Business Performance in ensuring that operational strategic and business plans are developed annually in accordance with the organisational planning cycle.
• Strategic Leadership
• Effective complaint management
• Effective registration of Estate Agents
• Legal advice and support provided to EAAB



• Preference will be given to candidates whose appointment will enhance representivity.
