Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
•  Relevant degree/diploma in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction management or Quantity surveying (Note: Must be Discipline Specific)
•  Project Management will be an added advantage
Experience:
•  At least 5years in a Site management role related on a Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Construction site.
 
Skills and Competencies
•  Strong leadership skills (plan direct, control and implement)
•  Strong management and organizational skills combined with ability to manage conflict
•  Ability to Communicate clearly written and verbal communication
•  Ability to negotiate, facilitate and influence interactions with the employees, clients and third party
•  Computer Skills 
•  South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP Registration)

Knowledge:
•  Project management principles
•  Technical knowledge and experience with regards to construction industry, relevant standards, and specifications (SANS etc)
•  Legislative acts (basic condition of employment Act, Labour relations Act, Employment Equity Act, skills development Act, OHSA,
•  Understanding of financial management
•  Knowledge and experience of Powerlines construction and refurbishment
