Key Responsibilities
• Performing plant inspections and identify obvious faults, defects and risk and report to supervisor.
• Repairing/Replacing faulty equipment as instructed by Supervisor and or checked by the Artisan e.g. valves, wet wall pumps, extract fans, diesel heaters. etc.
• Operating workshop machines and equipment as authorised.
• Refurbishing components according to supervisor instructions and checked by Artisan.
• Reporting to Supervisor or inform Artisan of any recurring defects.
• Initiating appropriate actions to rectify any unsafe activities or plant conditions.
• Checking that permit to work is in force before work commences.
• Performance above activities by using basic hand tools.
