Key Responsibilities
1. Provide supervision to ensure construction and project management standard services are applied throughout the project life cycle.
2. Supervise construction project management quality assurance, progress and successful completion against the agreed contractual requirements.
3. Supervise and control human resource requirements.
4. Supervise and report on contractors’ performance.
5. Comply with relevant Eskom and site governance, safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.
In line with the legal separation process, the Transmission Division will be transferred from Eskom to the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), a subsidiary of Eskom with effect from 1 July 2024. All Eskom employees currently assigned/working in the Transmission Division including potential employees, will be automatically transferred to NTCSA in terms of section 197 of the Labour Relations Act (LRA), 66 of 1995.
