KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Compilation of SDBIPs and IDPs to comply with the key performance areas.*Ensure that efficient and sustainable waste removal services are delivered. *Compilation of the waste collection capital and operational budget.*Management of budget *Supervision and control of Council’s assets *Investigation of complaints and resolve conflicts.*Enforcement of all Waste Management legislation *Implementation of the Waste Management Strategy * Administering of the activities of the Waste Management Service

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manages the implementation of financial controls / procedures and provides information to support financial planning sequences *Manages outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of personnel within the Section *Manages and controls performance management system through the formulation of policies and procedures and forward to the immediate superior and committees *Aligning institutional performance management system based on the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) and clearly sort out targets *Manages and co-ordinates specific sequences associated with the development and maintenance of an effective employee performance appraisal system for the Municipality *Manages administrative sequences associated with performance reviews and performance reporting *Leads and coordinates the effective and efficient management or relations with key stakeholders and implements communication strategies aimed at creating awareness and / or seeking acknowledgement
