Emalahleni Municipality is a Grade 2 municipality comprising of Indwe, Dordrecht and Cacadu with its seat in Cacadu. Emalahleni Municipality is an equal opportunity employer and subscribes to the principles of employment equity.

IDP/PMS MANAGER
SALARY SCALE: TASK GRADE 17 (R625 898- R812 473)) BASIC SALARY
FRINGE BENEFITS
Normal fringe benefits include leave, housing subsidy on certain conditions, pension/provident fund and medical aid scheme.
Car allowance: R96 711.48 per annum.
Cellphone allowance: R22 636.20 per annum
 
REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12.
• Appropriate B Degree in Town and Regional Planning or Development Studies or Public Management / Administration
• A post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• 5 years' experience in local government
• Valid driver's licence (Code 8)
• Computer Literacy
• Sound knowledge of legislative prescripts relating to IDP and PMS.
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing and reviewing an Integrated Development Plan (IDP)
• Developing and reviewing Performance Management System (PMS)
• Developing and reviewing Departmental Scorecards
• Developing and reviewing Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP)
• Developing IDP process plan
• Compiling quarterly, annual performance reports and annual reports
• Developing planning, monitoring and reporting tools on IDP and PMS
• Liaising with municipal departments continuously to ensure that all activities and operations are aligned to the IDP.
• Ensuring alignment of SDBIP with Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Performance Management System (PMS
• Aligning IDP with global, national, provincial and regional plans
• Developing, strengthening and maintaining relationship with relevant role players and other
implementing agents
