POST LEVEL 1 LECTURER (FIXED TERM CONTRACT) - GERMISTON CAMPUS
EKURHULENI WEST TVET COLLEGE INVITES QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING VACANCY TO BE FILLED ACCORDING TO THE CET ACT NO. 16 OF 2006 AS AMENDED.
Post Designation:
Post Level 1 Lecturer (Fixed Term Contract)
Reference Number:

- R256 395 – R410 565 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits.
Educational Requirements:
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
- National Diploma/Degree in Food and Beverage Management or Hospitality and Catering Services;
- TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of zero to one (0-1) years’ experience in the TVET Sector;
- Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
- Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
- Driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Post Description:
- Catering Theory and Practical N4-N6;
- Food Preparation L2-L4.
Duties:
- Engage in learning / facilitating as per workload;
- Assess and record the performance of students;
- Manage a learning program;
- Develop the policy for the program;
- Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program;

- National Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering;
- TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of zero to two (0-2) years’ experience in TVET sector;
- Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
- Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
- Driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Post Description:
- Mathematics N4-N6;
- Industrial Electronics N4-N6.
Duties:
- Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
- Assess and record the performance of students;
- Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.
