MECHATRONICS FACILITATOR (TEMPORARY) (RE-ADVERTISEMENT) - CORPORATE CENTRRE
EKURHULENI WEST TVET COLLEGE INVITES QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES TO APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING VACANCY TO BE FILLED ACCORDING TO THE CET ACT NO. 16 OF 2006 AS AMENDED.
Post Designation:
- Facilitator - Mechatronics
- R25,000.00, all inclusive.
- EWC/TEMP04/2024.
- Facilitator - Mechatronics.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics or above;
- Facilitator experience will be an advantage;
- Training/Facilitation Skills;
- POE development and learning evidence collection skills;
- Assessor and Moderator with NAMB/SETA an added advantage;
- NAMB registered as a trade testing official will be an added advantage;
- Driver's licence will be an added advantage.
- SACE Certificate will be an added advantage.
Post Designation:
- Facilitator - Mechatronics.
Duties:
- Planning, facilitation and administering training processes;
- Providing training to apprentices according to training schedule;
- Facilitate Mechatronics skills training to unemployed youth of varied ability;
- Manage simulated workshop environment;
- Implement and facilitate on-going training in line with industry & NQF standards;
- Prepare, review and administer assessments;
- Administer training registers and practical simulated exposure;
- Compile exit level projects and monthly reports;
- Collect and review portfolios of learning evidence (POE);
- Design, monitor and deliver on the implementation plan;
- Provide learners with an understanding of the Mechatronics Industry they will be pursuing a career in;
- Base line assess candidates to check understanding;
- Conduct toolkits gap training and trade test preparation to candidates;
- Management of workshop tools and equipment, procurement and safekeeping;
- Conduct risk assessments, investigate and report incidents;
- Site visits to companies where learners are placed and completion of monitoring reports.
Nature of Appointment:
- 12 Month Contract

POST LEVEL 1 LECTURER (TEMPORARY) - INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - BOKSBURG CAMPUS

- R256 395.00 - R410 565.00 per annum, plus 37% in lieu of benefits.
Educational Requirement:
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
- National Diploma/Degree in Information Technology;
- TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of zero to two (0-2) year's experience in TVET sector;
- Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
- Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
- Driver's licence will be an added advantage.
Post Description:
- Introduction to Information Systems L2;
- Introduction to Systems Development L2;
- Electronics L2;
- Computer Hardware and Software L3;
- Principles of Computer Programming L3;
- Systems Analysis and Design L3-L4;
- Data Communication and Networking L4.
Duties:
- Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
- Assess and record the performance of students;
- Manage a learning program, develop policy for the program;
- Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.
Duration:
- 12 Months.
